God is so good to give us life, breath, love, peace, compassion, understanding, conciousness, each other, the earth and big promises!
We are so fortunate! I hope to always give thanks to God for all things. There is way more to be thankful for than upset about. When I complain and pout, I show the Lord that I do not trust Him or believe Him. I hope to learn to give thanks in all things! He is worth it!

Know Him Project
I am happy to be working on a good number of new original songs centered mainly around getting to know God better.
He is the creator of the universe, but he also loves us deeply on a personal level that is difficult for most of us to grasp.
To Know Him is to be more like Him. I wish to live out His attributes more consistantly for the sake of my family and the world around me. We are to be lights to the world afterall.

Creator of the Universe
The great expansive universe is a wonderful proclamation of the power of our Creator! Not only do we observe uncountable stars, but numerous galaxies as well. God is so great to give us the ability to look at the details of his creation through telescopes and microscopes. The things we observe are so beautiful and complex that we can only stand in awe and with great adoration. The Lord of the heavens can also be the Lord of our hearts if we let Him. He does not force His way in.

God is so very good. I have had the privilege of practicing Keith Green songs for the last 10 months. The lyrics keep me encouraged and the music keeps me on my toes. It is great when songs can speak the words of Jesus to you and bring you to a place of deeper devotion.
Keith Green was among those Christian artist who focused heavily on loving and obeying Jesus above all other pursuits. I can only pray that God will keep getting more and more of my attention and I pray He does the same for others as they hear these lyrics.
I pray that God uses this music for His purposes and sends me where he wishes. I also pray that all my friends and family (including myself) are drawn into sweeter fellowship with Jesus every day and that we let His love flow through us!

This is a great time to start looking for God in every part of your life.
Of course, it is always a good time, but "now is the time, today is the day of Salvation".
There is no better time than today to give all of your attention to God, find his path and follow it passionately! Jesus paid a heavy price and walked a perfect walk to pave our way.

A Long Time
It has been a long time since I have put any personal thoughts in writing.
I don't know where is best to start, so I'll just go with my first thought.
Divorce hit my life hard in the year 2000. I tried to stay with my wife, but after her second affair, she chose the other man and married him soon after.
I was as close to suicide as I could imagine one time when I was watching a house we co-owned while she was on her new honeymoon. I looked at my Dog Beatrice and hoped I would not do such a thing that would upset the wonderful pet. Just then a scripture popped in my head.
"God is very near the broken hearted". I instantly had joy and my heavy heart felt lighter.
It is now 8 years later and I am just now starting to feel "normal" again for the most part.
I went though many stages, some had me feeling blissfully close to God and some had me doubting everything and even welcoming death.
